Savoury Pursuits of Almonte, Ontario is a small bakery and catering service. We specialize in handmade, high quality breads and baked goods, and an eclectic menu of savoury cuisine based on farm quality, herbs and ethnic flavours.
Savoury
Pursuits looks at cooking as an art: the ingredients, like the
paints, pigments or papers an artist uses, are simply the raw
materials to be manipulated in as many pleasing ways as one can
imagine.
We, like the artist working through a particular technique or series, or a musician varying the interpretation of a work - in our case a recipe - build from base materials to create dishes and foods based on various themes and their variations. We offer catering menus designed with the client to suit their event and needs.
